Everyone has different ideas
& concepts about lies, what are they, how do we identify a lie, is there
different kinds of lies or different degrees of lies, are some lies acceptable
& are others unacceptable & who has the right to make these decisions.
The main factors in our perception of lies could be a result of being a
carryover from our previous life embodiments, or from our training when we were
growing up as a child or from new concepts we have made about lies in this
present life.
One person will say that
something was a lie, another person will defend it & say it is not a lie.
Our perceptions about what constitutes a lie can be very different. We also
will differ in opinion on what constitutes a lie under certain conditions. We
will differ on whether some lies are acceptable and some lies are unacceptable,
some legalistic folks will say no lies are acceptable and there are those that
believe that some lies are acceptable and in some cases very necessary. There
are many that believe that all lies are acceptable.
From a spiritual perspective
lies are not about right or wrong, good or bad, only about our well being and
whether something is constructive to our future or destructive to our future,
whether things will help us expand or cause us to regress, it is all based on
the good of our future, which is the
result of Divine love which is the essence of God Being. Appraising
things as right or wrong is what has got us all into the negative density of
the natural world and this needs to stop. We
will eventually learn our lessons and we will then move on to better
& higher things in our lives & worlds.
From the Spiritual Realm,
intent & motives are a very important issue when appraising any thought,
feeling or action in any situation or circumstance. Was there intent to deceive
or to harm someone or something in a lie or was it simply miss-leading or was
it to protect something or someone or ourselves. Was the intent in the lie, to
cause harm to another soul in embodiment or to save them from harm.
Is withholding information a
lie, for example if you know something, have knowledge of something, but choose
not to reveal it to certain people or to anyone. Are you required to reveal all
information that you have at all times, or is it your own individual choice and
is the information that you have true, or maybe you just think it is true &
maybe it is false.
Spiritual life is all about
balance, it is not about one extreme or another, it is the narrow way or the
middle way, it is in the balance. Correct or profitable thought, feeling &
action would depend on the circumstances or situations that arise. Everything
is individually unique and as such needs to be appraised in its particular
setting or environment. If you tend to blanket things with only one
perspective, you likely will not get a true perception of an event,
circumstance or situation. Everything stands or falls on its own merits.
Spiritual laws are always
consistent, always reliable and stand forever. If anyone breaks these laws,
they will suffer the consequences, there is no escape. However, these laws are
not designed for our punishment, but to save us from self destruction. There is
the laws of life, law of love, the law of forgiveness, the law of acceptance,
freedom, what you do, you reap the results of and so on. Experiencing the
positive aspect of living within the protective laws of God will bring long
term self-sustainable, Divine living.
Experiencing the perceived
negative side of the Cosmic laws is not punishment, it is spiritual awakening
to ensure we do not self destruct in lower energy negativity. Spiritual laws
ensure that we all evolve into greater spiritual beings and create a
sustainable future for ourselves & everyone else. Spiritual laws are here
to protect us from total destruction, to give us a wake up call to enable us to
see correctly and to make needed corrections in our lives & lifestyles, as
well as belief systems, perceptions, processing, mental and emotional feeling world.
These Universal & Cosmic
laws govern our lives in this world & ensure our long term survival through
experience & self correction. If we flow with the higher laws of God-being
we will experience the blessings & joy of following God being into eternal
life. If we continually break the laws of Divine living, we will experience
human created negativity or suffering, by our own choices; this brings in Divine
balance to everything. If you have humility & surrender to the greater will
within you and are sorry for your mistakes and propose to make change, you will
be restored.
There are acceptable lies and
unacceptable lies & the acceptable ones always have good intentions as a
motive and the unacceptable always have destructive intentions as the motive.
Some people say there are
white lies and black lies, white lies are suppose to be harmless or necessary
and black lies are considered to be very destructive. In the spiritual realm
there is, in reality, no bad & no good or right & wrong, there is only
what is profitable to us and what is not profitable to us in our spiritual
expansion. Appraising things as right or wrong will keep souls trapped in the
density of this world. Living life is about experience & change, both of
which can be enlightening, joyful & exhilarating for the future.
A white lie would be like, I
am telling someone that I don´t like ice-cream, but I really do like it, but I
do not want them to know that I really like it, maybe I am overweight and
embarrassed, or for other various reasons. A white lie would always have a good
motive. Of course, protecting ourselves is not as beneficial as protecting
others, but it is also important. These can be just simply personal preferences
and maybe we are speaking about what we want to be, rather than what we
presently are and this is just simply choice and may help us get into a better
place. Maybe the person that is overweight is simply protecting themselves from
embarrassment, keeping in mind that it is always more enlightening to take
responsibility for our thoughts, feelings & actions, make the change and
move on. This is not good or bad, it is just free will choice to reveal what
you choose to reveal to others.
A black lie would be for a
thief to tell you they are going to help you, when they are secretly planning
to rob you. In this case, the thief will be the one to experience the
consequences of their actions and if the person, who was robbed, would not get
bitter and hate, but would love & forgive the thief, they would be
compensated for their losses, otherwise it would just simply be a loss and both
parties sink further into negativity or density. These are spiritual laws in
motion and they will never fail. If you always take the path of Divine love
& forgiveness and to willingly change, you will always succeed, spiritually.
Human created conditional love will not ultimately succeed in life, so it is
better to choose the higher unconditional Divine love, it is all encompassing
& very powerful.
So many white lies could be
harmless and with good intent and many black lies could bring forth much
suffering. Some people think that a lie is a lie and there are no degrees, but
that is simply black & white thinking and is not reasonable in conception.
There are far too many different circumstances in the conditions of lies to
embrace black & white thinking. Everything needs to be evaluated by its own
merits, conditions or circumstances.
Common sense needs to be used
in evaluating anything, including lies. Withholding information should not be
considered a lie, if the motive is acceptable, unless it is intended to be deceitful
or used to create negativity, destruction, suffering or more harm to another individual
soul.
We have been given free will
& we have a right to use it. Withholding information could be constructive
or destructive depending on the situation. We may think certain information is
important to a situation and maybe in reality it is not important at all. We
may think certain information is not important to a situation and maybe in
reality it is important. It is all filled with many possibilities and it all
has to be by free will choice. We can cause others harm by our own opinions
& counsel that is not good for the person or the situation. We had better
know that it is good counsel before we give it or we could cause much harm to
another person & their present life & world.
If a young girl is walking
down a road and sees a big man beating up on a small boy, the boy gets away
from the man and in a blind spot, he hides himself under a fence. The girl sees
the boy hide under the fence. The very angry man sees the girl and says where
did the boy go and the girl says that the boy went off down the street and
saves the boy from further abuse. It is a lie, yes, but is it an acceptable lie,
to save someone from further harm. Or should the girl have told what she knew
as the truth and allow the boy to suffer more or even maybe be killed, I think
that would be a
no-brainer. I think common sense would show us that that lie
she told was acceptable because it was in defense of another soul. So then,
contrary to the legalists it is acceptable to lie under some circumstances, it
would appear. These circumstances could vary to many different degrees in which
some people would agree and some would not agree. You do not have to make these
decisions for others, only to make them for yourself.
So there is no good reason to
criticize or judge or condemn others on lying, because it is all in the
individual perception, it all depends on motives and situations as we are not
responsible for others, only for ourselves. You might present a certain
situation of possible lying to ten different people and have ten different
opinions as to whether it was lying or not and whether it is acceptable or not
and if it was acceptable was it really needed in that particular situation.
We need to leave all of these
things to God, who clearly knows the motives, intent, thought and feeling of
the individual souls, surrounding any situation, circumstance or event. God
with His cosmic laws will always operate in Divine justice and is the only
source that is capable of maintaining Divine justice, for individual souls and
in the world. Arch Angel Michael and his billions of blue flame angels will
ensure Divine justice among souls on earth and within the planet.
When harm is purposely intended
and done to another soul, spiritual law then will activate and balance any
situation or circumstance that needs to be balanced. The soul who is causing
harm to another, will eventually have to experience the same thing later, in
maybe a somewhat different situation or circumstance. There is no better
teacher, than true experience, to bring true understanding.
We are in human form and are
mostly incapable of justly criticizing, judging or condemning any circumstance,
situation or person, since we only have very limited perception, thinking &
feeling on anything that happens. In order to judge correctly we would need to
be perfect, like God, but until that time comes, it is much better to let the
Divine world deal with all of these different things, and we can then focus
& concentrate on creating more good and positive things in ourselves &
around us.
We can, sometimes have correct
viewing on something, a situation, circumstance or another person, however it
doesn´t happen often, so it would be wise to just not do it. If you have a
correct viewing-point, it is acceptable, however if your viewing point is
incorrect, you will make negative Karma for yourself, that will need to be
balanced later on, what you sow, you reap. The only safe way is, if you don´t
have something good to say, don´t say anything at all and in addition, if you
don´t have anything good to think, don´t think at all or if you don´t have
anything good to feel, don´t feel anything at all, than you can protect
yourself from creating more negativity.
That is why Jesus said, judge
not, lest you be judged, the chance of you being correct in your judgment is
slim, so it is better to stay silent, instead of taking the chance of creating
more negativity for yourself. When they brought a convicted adulterous to Jesus
for judgment, He just simply said, he who is without sin, or he who has not
made a mistake, cast the first stone & of course they all went away sad
& embarrassed as there were none righteous & if there was one
righteous, they would have likely sent out forgiveness and still avert vicious
judgment anyway. Punishment is never
valid under any circumstances, only rehabilitation, we will all eventually
discover this in our lives. Punishment should not be a part of our
consciousness in this world, only rehabilitation should be acceptable.
Let everyone make their own
decisions on lying and let everyone walk in Divine love, Acceptance &
forgiveness and leave everything else up to God, who is the only being that is capable
of bringing Divine justice to anyone or any situation or any circumstance ever
created in the world.
